Secretary - Property Department
Our client, a leading offshore law firm is looking to recruit a Secretary in the Property department, to provide secretarial support to fee earners in order to ensure efficient running of client and management matters.
You will be a member of a secretarial team to provide cover as and when necessary ensure the smooth running of the Secretarial function.
Prompt, efficient and accurate preparation of documents by means of audio and copy typing (including preparation and assembly of ancillary documents such as enclosures with letters).
You will ensure physical records are up-to-date, accurate, complete and well organised.
Act as personal assistant to allocated fee earners to enable them to maximise their fee earning/management potential.
Capable of working on and have an understanding of various types of property documents such as preliminary agreements, share vending agreements, development agreements, leases and draft conveyances.
Must have a good all round (secretarial) knowledge of conveyancing practice.
Be capable of sanitising precedent documents for inputting onto the Knowledge Management System with a high level of technical ability in understanding computer systems.
